WINNER: Kieth Foley

Our first ever bass competition (sponsored by Fender) went off without a hitch! The crowd was into it and the players were awesome! Judges Tony Rerrick (our Fender representative) and Jason Reed (one of our drum teachers) had a real tough time choosing the winner and the final tally left one a one point difference between the contestants. First up was local legend and 3rd place winner Orin Hubbord who dazzled the crowd with his finger-tapping expertise and showed a side of his bass playing rarley seen. Next up was Kieth Foley on his 7-string fretless Stambough bass, who stepped to top rank on the podium with his groovy style and sweet harmonics. Last but certainly not least was 2nd place winner Mike Marchand entertaining the crowd with his great attiude and keeping them interested by pulling in some old licks we all know and love. By the end of the night, everyone was cheering and Kieth Foley got to send us home with an original solo piece. Definatley make it in next year, because this year was great!
