TuneTown’s Fab Four-th Anniversary

The owners and staff of TuneTown Music Gear & Studios in Wells thank the community for a fourth successful year of making music. An All-Day Open House on Saturday, March 22nd kicks off a month of special events in both the store and recording studio.

From 10am to noon guitar and bass enthusiasts are invited to ‘Donuts with the Luthier’, a free seminar hosted by master luthier Max Kay. Attendees can bring their own instruments in for a free eight-point evaluation.

Then from noon to 5:30, the workshop will be transformed into a performance space for an all-ages open mic. Solo and duo artists are invited to sign up ASAP to secure a spot under the lights. There will be plenty of refreshments and door prizes throughout the day.

Meanwhile, next door in the TuneTown Recording Studio, master engineer Giorgi Baino will be running demonstrations on the full range of available audio and video services. Watch as she conducts a live studio recording, from set-up and microphone placement, to editing and mastering. Bring your unfinished projects in for an evaluation.

Beginning on Wednesday April 2, Ms. Baino will be conducting a series of weekly free workshops on all aspects of recorded music from copywriting, to digital formatting to marketing. A sign up sheet with all the details will be available at the March 22nd Open House.
