Christine Gabree
Violin

Christine Gabree began studying violin at the age of nine. At Boston University, she studied with several Boston Symphony Orchestra violinists and earned a Bachelors degree in Music.
After college, Christine played in the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra for sixteen years. She was then concertmistress of the Lowell Philharmonic for one season followed by a year of Suzuki teacher training. Christine has recently completed a Masters degree in Education, specializing in Special Education, and has a CHRC and provisional Maine teaching certification.
Christine enjoys teaching and playing classical, Irish, and popular music. With ten+ years teaching experience, she enjoys combining her variety of training and experience to create a fun, nurturing and individualized approach to violin instruction here at Tunetown.
