Al studied jazz guitar at Berklee, and moved on to the New England conservatory. Although Al teaches all styles
and ability levels, he has studied counterpoint and microtonal composition at Maines College of Music. He can teach
where few have gone before! A martial arts instructor as well, Al resides in Maine with his wife, our bass teacher, Catherine.
