Although her journey began in Maine, Catherine comes to us through New York City. She is an accomplished
musician who has attended the Berklee School of Music as a performance major. She has received several awards
including the NJIA of Jazz Education outstanding soloist award, the Louis Armstrong award, and the New Jersey
Shore Jazz Festival Scholarship. Kat is also an assistant Kung Fu teacher and her husband Al is one of our
newest guitar teachers.
